HALİL KİRAZ HAIR ARTIST

Children’s Haircut

A wide view of the salon floor and its row of barber chairs

With children, patience matters as much as technique. A haircut given to a child who is not yet comfortable is neither a good cut nor a good memory.

Why children are afraid of the barber

The fear usually comes not from the barber but from having to stay still in an unfamiliar place, plus the sound of the clipper and cold metal on the neck.

How it is handled here

Nothing is rushed. If the child does not want the chair yet, we wait; if needed we start on a parent’s lap. The clipper is shown and run by hand first so the sound becomes familiar.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I stay next to my child?

Yes. Especially for a first haircut, having a parent close by helps noticeably.
